Sawdust COVID-19 Update August 2020

Wow! It has already been five months since the start of the pandemic, and we hope you are all doing well, staying healthy and safe. We are so happy to be here spreading creativity and joy through this crazy time with the joys of wood-crafting, community and painting. THANK YOU for all your love and support, you wonderful creative painters are what really keeps us going each and every day! As many of you know, we are open to the public again and have been for about a month or two, and we just realized we’re not sure if we shared with you the things we have done in our workshop to keep you and our staff safe!

In our workshop, we have implemented the following safety precautions:

Distancing

We will maintain a safe 6 feet of distance between customers and staff at all times. We have also separated painting tables to keep everyone socially distant. .

Private Tables

This means it will be just your group at your table while you’re painting, and we will call table groups up to each station. This will help maintain social distancing in the workshop.

Painting Appointments

Book your painting appointment online, this has been really helpful with keeping the workshop less crowded. Book your appointment here!

Hand Sanitizer!

We all know and love hand sanitizer now! We will have plenty of hand sanitizer in the workshop for you and your group to use as often as you need throughout your visit. Of course, we are always wiping down surfaces, but you just can’t be too careful!

Masks

We’re following the guidance coming from the State of California and requiring masks in our workshop.

Station Shields

We have clear shields installed at each of our crafting stations to keep you and our staff safe.

San Bernardino COVID Compliant Business

We are now a San Bernardino COVID Compliant business! A great big "thank you" to our county for offering their support and guidance. (If you own a small business or live in San Bernardino county, their email updates have been very helpful to get the latest on local regulations)
